Volunteering at Faith’s Lodge
IndividualsIndividual opportunities that require a regular, ongoing weekly, bi-weekly or monthly commitment include the following:
(Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.)
| Housewarmers: Varied tasks, such as light housekeeping, sorting, and maintenance, which help keep Faith’s Lodge running smoothly | |
| The Green Thumb Brigade: Creating and maintaining gardens and landscaping around the property | |
| Trail Blazers: Maintaining existing trails and creating new ones | |
| Office Assistants: Varied tasks, such as answering phones, data entry and preparation of guest welcome packets | |
| Librarian: Organizing and maintaining an orderly library/resource room | |
| Special Events Assistance: Providing support during scheduled events. |
Individual Volunteer Requirements
For the safety of the guests who will be visiting Faith’s Lodge, all individual volunteers who are interested in making a regular commitment must complete an application and have a criminal history background check. Acceptance as an individual volunteer at Faith’s Lodge is subject to passing the background check, receipt of two positive references and successful completion of orientation and training.
