Volunteering at Faith’s Lodge
Group Projects for Adult and Youth Service GroupsGroup projects that can be undertaken by adult and/or teen-aged youth groups on a periodic or one-time basis include the following: (Volunteers must be fourteen or older; if under 18, they must have adequate adult supervision).
| The “Meal of the Month Club” is our Volunteer Meal Program. We need volunteer groups for each day of the week that we have guests at Faith’s Lodge (typically Tuesday – Sunday morning). Groups will prepare lunch or dinner for 16 – 30 people. On weekends, we would like to have groups for brunch service as well. Meals can be prepared in our community kitchen or prepared at your home or facility, and re-warmed here. “Meal of the Month Club” volunteers sponsor the meal, purchase and prepare the food, set up a buffet service in our community kitchen, and clean up after the meal. | |
| Spring and Fall Clean-Up of the Faith’s Lodge property – both inside and outside of The Lodge. | |
| The Green Thumb Brigade: Creating and maintaining gardens and landscaping around the property. | |
| Trail Blazers: Maintaining existing trails and creating new ones. |
