Individual opportunities that require a regular, ongoing weekly, bi-weekly or monthly commitment include the following:
Meal Preparation
Meals can be prepared in our community kitchen or prepared at your home or facility, and re-warmed here. Meal volunteers purchase and prepare the food, set up a buffet service in our community kitchen, and clean up after the meal.
Housewarmers
Complete varied tasks such as light housekeeping, sorting and maintenance.
The Green Thumb Brigade
Create and maintain gardens and landscaping around the property.
Trail Blazers
Maintain existing trails and creating new ones.
Office Assistants
Complete varied tasks such as answering phones, data entry and preparation of guest welcome packets.
Librarian
Organize and maintain an orderly library/resource room.
Special Events Assistance
Provide needed support during scheduled events.
Individual Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. All individual volunteers who are interested in making a regular commitment must complete an application and have a criminal history background check. Acceptance as an individual volunteer at Faith's Lodge is subject to passing the background check, receipt of two positive references and successful completion of orientation and training.
