Families check-in to Faith's Lodge Tuesday through Saturday and may stay from one to five nights, once per year. Families who are invited to stay at Faith's Lodge:
- Have a child, 19 years or younger, with a life-limiting illness for which they are currently receiving treatment.
- Have lost a child, age 20+ weeks gestation through 19 years, within the last three years.
- Have received a referral from a healthcare provider, mental healthcare practitioner, clergy member or approved support organization (such as the Ronald McDonald House) and have completed and submitted a Guest Application to Faith's Lodge
Cost
The suggested minimum donation for first-time guests is $35 per night/per room/per family. Scholarship assistance (based on a sliding scale) is available for first-time guests who cannot afford the $35 fee. The fee for returning guests is $95 per night/per room/per family.
Scheduling
There are specific calendar times for each group that Faith's Lodge welcomes. Bereaved families will come to The Lodge during weeks with other bereaved families; bereaved parents will come during weeks with other bereaved parents; and families who have seriously ill children will come to Faith's Lodge during weeks with other families facing healthcare challenges.
