Who can use Faith's Lodge?
Faith's Lodge serves families who have a child with a life-limiting condition, as well as parents and families who have suffered the loss of a child, aged 19 years or younger, within the last three years. The support groups of these families are also welcome here.
How can someone be referred to Faith's Lodge?
A referral is required to utilize Faith's Lodge. Guests can be referred by a healthcare provider, a mental health professional, a member of the faith community or by an approved support organization, such as the Ronald McDonald House.
How many people can stay at Faith's Lodge at any one time?
Eight guest suites each accommodate anywhere from two to six people depending on the room. Two of these suites also adjoin to accommodate larger families and are handicapped accessible.
How much does it cost to stay at Faith's Lodge?
A minimum donation of $25 per night is requested; however, no one will be turned away for financial reasons. The actual cost to Faith's Lodge for each family is $250 per night.
How many nights can people stay at Faith's Lodge?
Lengths of stay can range from one to five nights, once during each calendar year, depending on preference and availability.
What types of activities are available at Faith's Lodge to parents and families if they need or want it?
Our calendar is designed to allow parents and families to come together at different times and participate in a way that meets their needs. Specifically, there are separate weeks for families who have a child with a life-limiting condition, bereaved parents, and bereaved families. While here, parents and families may participate in scheduled activities, like arts and crafts, game and movie nights, and nature hikes. Or they may prefer to simply explore the beautiful North Woods, enjoying the amenities The Lodge has to offer, and relaxing, reflecting, and reconnecting with their significant other or family. We realize that time is a precious commodity so we offer a variety of ways that you can support Faith's Lodge. Your first step may be to direct them to this website. Brochures can be downloaded and printed here. You may also call our office at and ask that a brochure be mailed to you.
How can I sponsor a family to stay at Faith's Lodge?
Sponsoring a family simply involves paying for their stay - a minimum of $25 per night. This can be done anonymously through our donations process. If there is a particular family you'd like to sponsor, download a sponsorship form, fill it out, and mail it to us: Faith's Lodge, 6942 County Road C, Danbury, WI 54830. Once the sponsorship is approved, you need only pay for the family's stay.
